POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a Production Maintenance Technician to join our team in Greenville, SC. The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting preventative maintenance and repairs on sophisticated electrical and mechanical production equipment and systems. Ensuring adherence to production standards, the Production Maintenance Technician will monitor equipment performance, safety, and effectiveness. Additionally, they will troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues while meticulously documenting all modifications and details.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform preventive maintenance and skilled repairs on complex electrical and mechanical production equipment and systems.
• Monitor equipment for performance, safety, and effectiveness according to standard procedures.
• Conduct equipment failure analysis to complete preventive and unscheduled maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems as they arise.
• Log equipment modifications and maintenance details in the designated system.
• Follow all safety procedures rigorously.

• Skilled in equipment monitoring techniques.
• Able to document processes effectively.

EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING

• High school diploma required.
• May require apprenticeship and/or formal training in the specialty area.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Regularly works around moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat, and humidity. Noise level may be loud at times.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina. Must be able to lift 50 or more pounds at a time.
