We are seeking a Production Maintenance Technician to join our team.
Job Summary:
The Production Maintenance Technician position performs maintenance throughout the Truss Plant and office facilities. The technician performs preventative maintenance and skilled repairs on complex electrical and mechanical production equipment and systems. In addition, the technician follows standard procedures to monitor equipment for performance, safety, and effectiveness. The technician also performs equipment failure analysis to complete preventative and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshoot, and diagnose equipment problems.Responsibilities:
- Perform duties to install and maintain production machines and facility equipment.
- Perform mechanical skills, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, welding, troubleshooting, and machine repair.
- Diagnose malfunctions, replace or repair parts, and test the proper functioning of machinery.
- Perform preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
- Work in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain preventative maintenance logs.
- Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 3-5 years of production maintenance experience.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Bilingual preferred but not required.
- Must be able to perform duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time – occasionally.
- Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, and crawl into awkward spaces.
- Must have enough manual dexterity and stability as required for precision work.
- Must be able to see details at close range.
