Production Painter operates a spray painter or other equipment to apply industrial paint finishes on metals or products. Mixes paints and other solutions and monitors drying to ensure desired results. Being a Production Painter completes finishing with baking, polishing or other materials. Follows all required safety procedures. Additionally, Production Painter may paint items by hand as needed. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to supervisor/manager. May require an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. The Production Painter possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting techniques and a strong attention to detail.
Duties:
- Prepare surfaces for painting such as scraping, sanding, caulking, and masking
- Apply paint or other finishes to various surfaces including walls, trim, soffits
- Use brushes, rollers, or spray guns to paint surfaces
- Perform repairs as needed
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment
Experience:
The ideal candidate should have experience in exterior residential painting. If not, we offer on the job training.
This position may be seasonal for the exterior painting season through October depending on weather.
