Production Scheduler Manager manages production scheduling activities in an organization. Designs and implements the production schedule plan considering all aspects of production include low cost, timeliness, and effectiveness. Being a Production Scheduler Manager monitors the materials inventories, tracking of progress of production, and reviewing of factors which affect production schedules. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Production Scheduler Manager relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complex tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a unit/department head. The Production Scheduler Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes.
