Production Scheduler Supervisor jobs in Brandon, FL

We are currenlty seeking a skilled and experienced Production Supervisor for one of our Prestigious Clients. This a temporary to possible permanent position. This is a Sanitation Plant.

As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the plant process and ensuring that production targets are met. This is a leadership role that requires strong technical knowledge and excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage employee performance through coaching, training, motivation, and maintaining employee files
• Conduct interviews, train new hires on site-specific and role-specific duties, and demonstrate safe equipment operations and work procedures
• Enforce regulations related to safety, sanitation, housekeeping, and compliance with landlord and DEP requirements
• Direct and coordinate production staff activities, resolve worker problems, and ensure proper staffing of all productive areas
• Handle light administrative and technical tasks, and oversee shipping and receiving operations
• Coordinate commodity shipments, manage ongoing facility destruction, and ensure quality control
• Prepare and send daily reports, including inbound/outbound logs, labor reports, physical inventory, compliance checklists, and pH logging
• Manage payroll controls and work hours, adhering to schedules and addressing employee time discrepancies
• Inspect materials, products, and equipment for defects or malfunctions, with a focus on aluminum bale quality
• Monitor and adjust pH balances, maintaining consistent documentation and adherence to standards
• Plan work schedules, production sequences, and interpret technical documents and company policies
• Maintain consistent operations data, recommend personnel actions, and set up and adjust machines and equipment
• Optimize resource management by minimizing overtime, ensuring staff morale and attendance consistency

Skills:

• Proven and verifiable RECENT Production Supervisor Experience minimum 3 years
• Strong knowledge of plastics blow molding, plastics injection molding, machining, and assembly processes
• Proficient in operating various manufacturing equipment such as lathes, micrometers, calipers, and forklifts
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
• Basic math skills for measuring and calculating production metrics
• Strong attention to detail to ensure quality control standards are met
• Effective communication skills to provide clear instructions to the production team
• Leadership abilities to motivate and guide the production team towards meeting goals
