Production Scheduler Supervisor supervises the development, preparation, and maintenance of production schedules to guide the production activities and resources that achieve maximum efficiency and meet output and timeline objectives. Coordinates with internal teams to assess and incorporate materials, inventories, resource availability, and delivery commitments into schedules. Being a Production Scheduler Supervisor monitors daily production results and develops revised scheduling responsive to changes in the flow of materials, designs, equipment, or other resources. Utilizes ERP systems, planning and scheduling software, or other database tools to develop and maintain master schedules and generate reporting. Additionally, Production Scheduler Supervisor requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Production Scheduler Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Production Scheduler Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes.   • Arcosa Wind Towers is looking for a Production Scheduler to join our team in Belen, NM. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the production schedule to ensure efficient and timely manufacturing operations. The scheduler monitors workflow, adjusts schedules as needed, and communicates any changes to relevant stakeholders. The goal is to achieve a well-organized and streamlined production process that meets quality standards and delivery deadlines in a dynamic environment. This position reports to the Assistant Plant Manager.

    Location: Belen, NM

    What you'll do:

    • Actively participate in daily production meetings, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
    • Efficiently schedule, plan, and supervise production, contributing to the smooth execution of operations.
    • Conduct a comprehensive analysis of product costs and manage part inventory alongside the Materials Management dept. to optimize resource allocation.
    • Generate showcase reports focusing on Efficiencies, Standard Cost, and Labor Variances, offering valuable insights for decision-making.
    • Track Work in Progress (WIP) through comprehensive reports for production teams, fostering informed decision-making.
    • Oversee and maintain historical production records, ensuring accurate and accessible documentation.
    • Coordinate seamlessly within the BPCS system, running reports, overseeing schedules, managing labor costs and budgets, and coordinating material and shipping schedules.
    • Prepare and present daily production reports, summarizing key metrics and updates, and actively contribute to daily production meetings.
    • Fulfill additional duties as assigned, showcasing flexibility and adaptability in supporting overall plant operations.

    What you'll need:

    • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or higher preferred.
    • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on manufacturing experience in Planning, Accounting, or an Analyst role, demonstrating a solid foundation in operational processes.
    • Showcase advanced proficiency in computer skills, with a focus on the Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Demonstrate a proven track record of utilizing and navigating purchase order and tracking systems.
    • Exhibit excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, essential for effective collaboration and conveying complex information clearly.
    • Display strong organizational skills, enabling the efficient handling of tasks and responsibilities in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
    • Demonstrate the ability to engage and work seamlessly with individuals at various levels within the organization, fostering effective teamwork and communication across departments.

    Working Conditions:

    • Full-time position
    • Work environment includes plant, warehouse, production and non-production areas and plant grounds which operate 3 shifts and frequent weekend shifts
    • This position may require work/maintenance coverage beyond the normal hours, shift, and on weekends/holidays
    • Ability to tolerate both high and low temperatures, loud noises typical of a manufacturing plant.
