Job Description:

The Production Support role is the daily facilitator for preparing all products needed for fulfillment.  The production team must work at high levels of production efficiency, safety, and hygiene. The Production Support is expected to follow, maintain, and hold the team accountable to standard work methods and safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate clearly and frequently with the Production Leads and wider team
• Working as a team to achieve daily, weekly, monthly production goals
• Open and close workstations in standard, compliant methods
• Determine daily needs for ingredients, prep workstations with required amounts
• Keep workspace clear and free of clutter
• Understanding of different production tasks as needs change daily
• Use daily checklists to keep facility running smoothly
• Understanding the METRC associated tags and batch sticker process
• Operate machines in accordance with production schedule
• Mix ingredients according to predetermined recipes
• Weigh-out and apply pre-mixed coating solutions
• Gummy popping and sugaring, and production of gelatin
• Pouring, trimming, and weighing chocolate bars
• Tasking, including doing dishes, laundry, taking out garbage’s and cleaning molds
• Follow standard packaging protocols
• Operate scalding machine and other packaging machinery as required
• Adhering to standard packaging KPIs
• Be proactive-find tasks when there is a break in production
• Help co-workers finish tasks
• General support tasks for all phases of production

Work environment:

This work environment can be loud, with large machinery operating 24 hours a day and multiple departments working side by side. The Employee may be exposed to cleaning chemicals and intense smells from different products. The environment is cool as our facility is kept at 68 degrees or lower to stabilize the chocolate.

• While performing the responsibilities of the job the employee is required to:

• Stand 100% of the time
• Reach with arms and hands

• Work in tight spaces
• Use knifes or sharp tools

Compensation:
