We are currently seeking a skilled Accounting Assistant to join our team, working remotely and on-site in Palmetto, Florida.

Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to fill the role of Full-Time Accounting Assistant. This position will involve supporting our Fractional CFO and Fractional Controller in providing high-quality financial services to our clients. The ideal candidate will have experience with QuickBooks Online and Excel, possess strong communication skills, and excel in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes for multiple clients
• Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
• Prepare and process invoices and expense reports for clients
• Aid in month-end and year-end closing procedures for clients
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for multiple clients
• Provide support for payroll processing for clients
• Assist with financial reporting and analysis for clients as needed
• Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 1-3 years of accounting experience
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
