Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Staff Accountant. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting principles and procedures, along with proficiency in QuickBooks. This individual will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of our operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
2. Budget Management: Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets, providing insights to management on variances and financial performance.
3. Accounts Payable and Receivable: Oversee the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, payment processing, and collections.
4. Payroll Processing: Coordinate payroll activities, including payroll processing, tax filings, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
5. General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain the general ledger, reconciling accounts, posting journal entries, and ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
6. Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
7. Audit Support: Assist in the preparation for internal and external audits, providing documentation and explanations as needed.
8. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
9. Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, providing financial insights and support to assist in achieving business objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting roles, with demonstrated proficiency in QuickBooks or QBO.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
• Proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in the graphic design or creative industry is a plus.
