EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY – REVIT / BIM DESIGNER

Tecton Architects has an immediate opening for a Revit / BIM Designer in our Hartford, CT studio. The ideal candidate will have professional experience working in the architecture field and be experienced in the development of full sets of architectural construction documents and all of their component parts (details, schedules, etc.). This is a full-time, hybrid position, with employees splitting the work week between our Hartford studio and remote work.

Responsibilities:

As a Revit / BIM Designer, you will be an integral part of each project as you work closely with the entire team to deliver thoughtful, quality and conscientious work for our clients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Creating architectural drawings throughout all phases of the project – schematic design, design development and construction documents.
• Supporting other project related tasks as needed, including general project administration, field measurement and verification, travel to and from project sites, communications with the client and project team, coordination with consultants, and construction administration.

Qualifications:

• An Associate’s Degree or Vocational Certificate in Architecture, Computer-Aided Drafting or a related field is required.
• 5 years of experience in architectural project design, including construction detailing, construction documentation and CAD drafting.
• 5 years of experience using Revit in combined academic and professional settings is required. Advanced Revit knowledge is preferred.
• Work samples or a portfolio that demonstrate a high level of technical competence are required.
