Position Summary | The primary location of this position is on the main Cullowhee, NC campus. This is a nine-month fixed-term position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor of Practice. Rank will be determined at point of hire. Responsibilities include teaching; advising; course and curriculum development; engagement with regional business and industry; a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion; and other service duties as assigned. Scholarship opportunities are available for the candidates who are interested in pursuing them. Anticipated start date is January 2024. Three years or more of relevant industry experience, or documented equivalent, are preferred. Teaching experiences at the college level, including lab courses, are preferred. Applicants with laboratory and practical experiences are highly desirable. Applicants with experience in more than one area of need will be reviewed favorably. |
