Professor - Chemical Engineering jobs in Lorain, OH
Professor - Chemical Engineering teaches courses in the discipline area of chemical engineering. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being a Professor - Chemical Engineering provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Professor - Chemical Engineering typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and initiates research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students. Our nationwide chemical company is currently looking for individuals that are looking for a career. This is a production role that has many responsibilities. Will be setting up the machines and monitor product from the moment it gets loaded in until it gets out the shipping dock. The employee with troubleshoot machines if something is malfunctioning and would make minor repairs. Will be recording data and mixing products according to recipes. Will operate the tow motor as well occasionally. We are looking to interview for this role immediately. Job Requirements:
- Must have production/manufacturing experience
- Must be open to overtime
- Tow motor experience preferred
- Prior experience with plastic/rubber/chemical preferred
- Must be open to 12 hour shifts
- Must be open to 7 PM to 7 AM schedule.
