Job Overview:
We are a private 40 year practice looking for a Dental Receptionist/Hygiene Coordinator
to join our team. We are expanding our practice by adding a new dentist, assistant and another hygienist. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring they receive a warm welcome and efficient service throughout their visit. You will also maintain the hygiene appointment schedule ensuring optimum productivity for our hygienists. This position is an in person position.
Responsibilities:
Schedule appointments and manage patient information with accuracy and attention to detail
Welcome patients to the practice
Coordinate dental hygiene appointments
Maintain hygiene recall reports and calls
Confirm appointments for doctors and hygiene
Facilitate referrals to other dental specialists
Pull insurance benefits for patients and be able to estimate for services
Check patients out, schedule appointments and collect money
Assist patients with filling out necessary forms electronically
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth workflow and optimal patient experience
Handle administrative tasks such as answering phones, and responding to messages
Requirements:
Full time position 30 - 40 hours
Monday through Thursday
Experience in a dental setting a must
Experience with insurance estimations and understanding insurances
Excellent communication skills,
Strong organizational skills,
Ability to multitask with efficiency, with dedication to patient priority
Familiarity with Eaglesoft dental software is a plus, but not required, we will provide training for the right person
