Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Professor - Electrical Engineering typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and initiates research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students. - Electrical Engineering Support. Assist with design of products and test equipment for electrical engineering.
- Core Responsibilities:
- Support engineering activities related to development of new products and test equipment.
- Perform tests, fault isolation and feedback root causes of issues on engineering designs.
- Assist in the design, construction, test and check-down of production test equipment.
- Assist in documentation of new and existing products.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience or current course study toward a BS degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering.
- Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, drawings, assemble prototypes.
- Prefer experience with schematic capture software and CAD software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work as an integral part of a project team.
