Position Overview
The Department of English invites applications to teach Introduction to College Writing as an adjunct instructor for the Fall 2023 semester. This is a course in academic writing. The instructor will be required to use They Say/I Say: The Moves that Matter in Academic Writing along with a reader or set of readings of their choice.
Requirements:
Candidates for this position must hold the Master of Arts in English or the Ph.D in English, and must have a record of college-level teaching experience, particularly courses in First-Year- Writing for which they were the instructor-of-record. Understanding and implementation of diversity, equity and inclusion in undergraduate curriculum are also a requirement. Experience using Canvas preferred.
