Professor - Foreign Languages teaches courses in the discipline area of foreign languages. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being a Professor - Foreign Languages provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Professor - Foreign Languages typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and initiates research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students.     CACI is seeking TS/SCI Poly-Cleared candidates to join our team as a Foreign Language Instructors for our prime contract in Fairfax, VA. This position is 100% on-site. No remote or Hybrid work available.

    These are the languages we are seeking:

    French

    German

    Italian

    Japanese

    Turkish

    Farsi

    Russian

    What You’ll Get to Do:

    This role will enable you to utilize both your linguistic and teaching skills for a mission-driven role. You will provide instruction for advanced students (Level 2-3 certified) in French and may be required to summarize/gist, translate, triage, quality control and/or edit language materials into correct grammatical American English.

    You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

    • Active TS/SCI Clearance with adjudicated Polygraph
    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • At least five (5) years experience in foreign language instruction
    • Ability to pass an advanced English test
    • Ability to score Level 5 on Speaking, Listening, and Reading target language tests
    • Minimum two (2) years’ professional experience in language teaching/instruction
    • In-depth knowledge of the geopolitical, regional, ethnic, and cultural components of target language geographical areas
    • Master use of MS Office and internet research


    These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

    • Has good understanding of one or more regional dialects
    • Consecutive and/or simultaneous interpretation abilities
