Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Professor - Law typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and initiates research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students.     The positions will include professional and caring interaction with clients, assisting with communication both written and telephonic, document preparation, maintaining office calendar and assisting with meeting deadlines, etc. These positions offer great opportunity for growth in tasks and income.

    What we provide:

    • Full or Part-Time, very flexible schedule, with goal of 40 hours 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. M-F. Flexible schedule.
    • $12/HR-$28/HR starting rate, depending on experience.
    • Salary increases available relevant to individual performance.

    What experience is needed?

    • 3-5 years working consistently on one law office in Iowa with specific experience related to probate, real estate, family law, and litigation
    • Excellent communication, grammar and legal vocabulary. In many cases, this position will involve setting up appointments and connecting with clients and witnesses, all of which requires impeccable communication.
    • Organizational skills. From organizing documents within our internal system to coordinating multiple schedules and ensuring requirements of the Court are met. Resumes should outline organizational skills and experience related to same.
    • Ability to accurately type 60 to 80 words per minute.
    • Longevity in employment and reliability in attendance for work.

    Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

    Pay: $12.00 - $28.00 per hour
