Professor - Law teaches courses in the discipline area of law. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being a Professor - Law provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Professor - Law typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and initiates research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students. What You'll Do
We are looking for an ambitious and passionate Trial Lawyer to join our growing team. As a Trial Lawyer at our firm, you will work alongside a dynamic and experienced team of Attorneys across the nation, and have local and remote support staff. A typical day for an Attorney at Alexander Shunnarah Trial Attorneys involves client communication, taking and defending depositions, research and drafting, leading mediations, developing case strategies, and taking cases to trial. Our Trial Lawyers handle cases from intake through settlement or jury verdict.
What You Need
- 2 years of experience practicing personal injury or civil litigation;
- Licensed and in good standing with the Texas State Bar;
- Experience drafting and responding to motions;
- Substantial knowledge of Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence.
