We are looking for a law clerk or associate attorney who can multi-task working on several projects which include client intake, research, demand packages, pleadings, and discovery among other duties. Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues
- Assist attorney in preparing for hearings, trials, and depositions
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Review and analyze documents for case preparation
- Organize and maintain case files and documents
- Attend court proceedings and take notes as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Law or related field
- Previous experience as a Law Clerk is preferred but not required
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in legal research platforms such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis
- Familiarity with document review and management software
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
