Position Overview:

The Support Specialist will install and maintain the network, software applications, databases, and hardware at all the Company’s locations.

A Typical Day Looks Like:

• Reviewing diagnostics and assessing the functionality and efficiency of systems
• Providing technical support and training to system users
• Supporting the day-to-day operations of the Company’s network
• Maintaining confidentiality and security of company documents, customers, and databases
• Responding to hardware problems
• Installing, configuring, and maintaining networks, software applications and hardware systems
• Repairing or replacing equipment and hardware as needed
• Ordering new equipment as needed
• Regularly attend and participate in required meetings
• Travel as needed
• Education and training duties as required
• Other duties/responsibilities as assigned by a supervisor

What Does It Take?

• On-Site position in Grand Rapids, MI **NOT A REMOTE ROLE**
• Associates Degree in Information Technology, related field or equivalent experience required
• Minimum of 2 yrs. experience preferred
• Experience with Windows and Apple iOS
• Detail oriented to efficiently set up, manage, and troubleshoot systems and hardware
• Capable of efficiently tracking data and communications used on the network
• Able to work under pressure and handle multiple problems simultaneously
• Expert user in MS Office Applications including Teams and Sharepoint
• Strong planning, organization, and time management skills
• Professionally communicate and interact with exceptional written, and verbal skills.
• Highly motivated, flexible, and positive attitude
• Analyze and solve problems
• Work independently and with teams
• Ability to learn Service Professor, Inc. business systems
