Professor - Legal Support teaches courses in the discipline area of legal services. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being a Professor - Legal Support provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Professor - Legal Support typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and initiates research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students. Legal Administrative Consultant (C)

  • Our client, a large telecommunications company is seeking temporary legal administrative staff  (see shifts below) to work onsite in its Bedminister, NJ offices assisting its Court Order Compliance Group. Job function includes data entry of legal process into client's workflow management system and answering time-sensitive incoming calls. Please note this is a high-volume environment requiring strict confidentiality and attention to detail. Confidentiality and attention to detail are a must. The position is a long-term temp role expected to start immediately. The onsite work shift is Tuesday-Saturday 3pm-12am.


    A PARALEGAL CERTIFICATE IS NOT REQUIRED BUT ANY LEGAL BACKGROUND, EDUCATION OR LEGAL EXPERIENCE IS PREFERRED.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Communicate with the law enforcement community in connection with customer and account data.
    • Authenticating caller information in coordination with law enforcement personnel.
    • Ensure all cases are correctly documented and managed end-to-end in compliance with company procedures;
    • Entering customer and account data from source documents in a timely manner and reporting needed changes; 
    • Strong customer service or dispatch-like experience for handling high call volumes of a dynamic nature.
    • Compiling, verifying the accuracy and sorting information to prepare source data for computer entry.
    • Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities and checking output.
    • Resolves deficiencies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team lead/supervisor for resolution.

    Requirements:
    • The ability to work independently.
    • Accuracy and Attention to detail.
    • Understanding of and willingness to learn about basic legal concepts.
    • Customer Service experience a plus.
    • Proficient in typing and transcription.
    • Computer and technical skills.
    • Organizational and time management abilities.
    • Administrative skills, copying, filing, sorting and mail distribution.
    • Strong Communication Skills (written and verbal).
    • Candidate must be eligible to apply for a government clearance.

    The work shift is Tuesday-Saturday 3PM-12AM.
