Secondary Mathematics Teacher: (6th - 12th grades)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Teaches knowledge and skills in mathematics, promotes a classroom environment that is safe and conductive to individualized and small group instruction. Develops lesson plans and instructional materials for subject area and translates them into learning experiences, challenge students and utilize time for instruction. Maintains familiarity with district and Colorado State standardized tests for the purpose of adapting curriculum to maximize student achievement on such tests. Continues to acquire professional knowledge and learn of current developments in the educational field by attending seminars, workshops or professional meetings.
Provide quality, accurate, constructive, corrective, specific and timely feedback to students that encourages them to perform at their highest level. Effectively communicate with all stakeholders about student progress in an appropriate manner.
Salary Base: $32,7600.00- 37,860.00
Signing Bonus: $1,000.00
