Mechanical Maintenance Technician

  • Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

    * Perform preventative & corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment (conveyors, presses, lifts)
    * Assist with diagnosing and troubleshooting problems and /or downtime on all equipment. Replaces parts & components and makes other necessary repairs to machinery.
    * May perform tasks such as fabrication, assembly/disassembly of equipment, cutting, burning, welding, and pipe fitting.
    * Read, understand, and apply mechanical and structural blueprints, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics, diagrams, and circuitry

    Qualifications:

    * High School Diploma or GED
    * 1 year of Industrial maintenance experience
    * Must work rotating shifts (2 weeks on 1st, 1 week on 2nd and 1 week on 3rd)
    * Must have experience in hydraulics and/or pneumatics.
    * Knowledge of safe and proper usage of hand/power tools, including welders, cutting torches, and plasma cutter
    * Read blueprints, schematic diagrams, and equipment manuals
    * The job requires tasks that involve pushing/pulling 50 or more pounds and standing/climbing

    Job Types: Full-time, Contract

    Pay: $25.00 - $36.00 per hour
