This position joins the Director of Public Services in serving as key advisors to the Library Director. This balanced, thoughtful, and goal-oriented team is responsible for leading and supporting our highly-talented and creative managers in conceptualizing and administering innovative programs and services to our patrons and employees.
The successful Director of Operations oversees these ideas into execution as they lead our managers responsible for Content Development, Content Circulation, Organizational Development, Administrative, and the Library Foundation departments.

The candidate must also be passionate about providing responsive, high-quality service to our dynamic patron culture. Requirements
Master’s degree in Library Science (MLS) from an ALA accredited college or university.
Demonstrated experience in the field of library services, public administration, assistance in oversight of budget preparation, Library operations, community engagement, and broad knowledge of physical and digital content required.
Indiana Public Library Certification – Level 2 required. ALA-accredited MLS degree (or equivalent).

Full-Time (37.5 Hrs./Wk.).
Salary Range $62,868 Min. – $100,581 Max. | Compensation is commensurate with relevant experience/expertise.
