Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being a Professor - Medical Ethics provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Professor - Medical Ethics typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and initiates research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students. Kent Place School seeks an Assistant Director of the Ethics Institute to begin immediately. The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong knowledge of ethics, the ability to anticipate and respond to ethical issues within our society, be an accomplished teacher and facilitator, and possess the ability to positively collaborate with all constituents in a PS-12th grade community. We are looking for a candidate who is eager to partner in expanding our mission, effectively communicates and is enthusiastic about joining our first-of-its-kind ethics program in a primary and secondary school.
