Responsibilities:
- Process medical authorizations for procedures and services.
- Utilize medical terminology and coding knowledge to accurately review and verify medical records.
- Verify insurance coverage and handle insurance authorization processes.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations while handling sensitive patient information.
- Utilize ICD-9, ICD-10, and CPT coding systems for accurate documentation.
- Utilize managed care knowledge to navigate insurance processes efficiently.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure proper documentation and authorization.
- Utilize office experience and typing skills to efficiently process authorizations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
