Job Overview:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Post-Harvest Supervisor to join our cannabis cultivation facility. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of the post-harvest process, including drying, curing, trimming, and packaging of cannabis products. The Post-Harvest Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing a team of post-harvest technicians and ensuring that all processes are executed efficiently and in compliance with state regulations.

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and direct the post-harvest team in all aspects of processing cannabis flower, trim, and concentrated products.

2. Manage the drying, curing, trimming, and packaging processes to ensure high-quality cannabis products.

4. Implement and enforce strict hygiene and sanitation protocols during post-harvest processes to prevent contamination.

5. Monitor inventory levels, track yields, and maintain accurate records of product weights and waste.

6. Train and mentor post-harvest technicians on techniques for maximizing product quality and minimizing waste.

8. Collaborate with other departments, such as cultivation, compliance, and inventory management, to coordinate seamless operations.

9. Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations regarding the post-harvest process.

10. Conduct regular quality checks on processed cannabis products to ensure consistency, potency, and compliance with internal standards.

11. Maintain a clean and organized post-harvest area, ensuring proper ventilation, lighting, and equipment functionality.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Post-Harvest Supervisor or similar role in the cannabis industry.

2. Excellent knowledge of the post-harvest process and associated equipment used in drying, curing, trimming, and packaging.

3. Familiarity with local and state regulations related to the cannabis industry.

4. Strong organizational and leadership skills to effectively manage a team.

5. Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

6. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining product quality and compliance.

7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with other team members and departments.

8. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and ensure security protocols are followed.
