Professor - Music jobs in Spokane, WA
Professor - Music teaches courses in the discipline area of music. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being a Professor - Music provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Professor - Music typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and initiates research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students. The Imaginative Music Studio is looking for voice, piano, and guitar teachers to join our team!
Our studio is a high energy, and fun atmosphere to teach and learn in! We strive on giving students the best music education within a student led learning environment. We offer group and private lessons to students ages 4-adult.
What we are looking for in an applicant:
- Must LOVE working with children!
- Voice, piano, or guitar teaching experience
- Willing to teach in a small group setting.
- Multi Instrument experience a plus!
- Must be able to work evenings and afternoons.
Pay is $26 an hour. Student roster is built once hired.
