Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Professor - Nursing typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and initiates research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students. The Nursing Home Administrator NHA is responsible for directing the day-to-day operations of the facility in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards governing long-term care facilities and to ensure that the highest degree of resident care and services are delivered and maintained. He/she will ensure all personnel are treated fairly and consistent with company policy and applicable laws
This is a Full-Time Position
Responsibilities:- Oversight and management of all business related activity for this skilled nursing facility
- Ensure company standard as high-quality provider through implementation and monitoring of quality systems and processes
- Oversee Annual State Surveys
- Financial management
- Work collaboratively with physicians to implement appropriate healthcare programs
- Maintain a clean environment to ensure patient safety
- Establish and enforce healthcare policies and procedures
Qualifications:- Must be a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in good standing and/or meet all applicable federal and state licensure requirements
- Previous NHA experience in a hospital or long-term care facility
