Job Summary
Naropa University seeks applications for Core Candidate Assistant or Associate Professor for an appointment to the BA Psychology undergraduate residential and online program.¬¬ We seek candidates with expertise in the psychology of mindfulness, compassion, as well as contemplative practice and experience more broadly.
The successful candidate will have a strong background and/or commitment to contemplative education, a capacity for transformative teaching at the undergraduate level, and demonstrated experience, understanding, and leadership abilities with respect to cultural competence and justice, equity, diversity and inclusion. Our preferred candidate may also have successful teaching experience in residential, hybrid, and online learning environments, an interest in mentoring student research, and an emergent program of research.
