Professor - Physical Therapy teaches courses in the discipline area of physical therapy. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being a Professor - Physical Therapy provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Professor - Physical Therapy typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and initiates research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students.     Under the direct supervision of the registered physical therapist, provides therapy assistance for assigned patients and accomplishes other related activities within the physical therapy office. after specific training and demonstration of competencies, the aide may assist with provision of treatment as determined and prescribed by the supervising physical therapist within the boundaries of the aide job description.

    EDUCATION:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Interest in physical therapy or related medical field.
    • Multi-task.
    • Follow directions and use sound judgment in performing job related functions.
    • Communicate clearly and concisely with a respectful delivery.
    • Organize time and set priorities appropriately, demonstrating flexibility.
    • Assume responsibility in carrying out assigned tasks
    • Maintain, clean, lift and move equipment demonstrating good body mechanics and sound judgment.
    • Demonstrate respect, integrity and discretion in all job-related matters.
    • An attitude of excellence in providing quality patient care.
    • Proficient in Windows 11
    • Available to support other clinics.
    • Work various schedules.
    • Bilingual English, Spanish

    Job Type: Part-time

    Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 40 per week
