Professor - Physical Therapy teaches courses in the discipline area of physical therapy. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being a Professor - Physical Therapy provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Professor - Physical Therapy typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and initiates research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students.     ```Duties```
    - Assist physical therapists in providing patient care and treatment
    - Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions
    - Escort patients to and from therapy sessions
    - Monitor and record patient progress during therapy sessions
    - Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records
    - Clean and maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas

    ```Experience```
    - Previous experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred
    - Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
    - Familiarity with acute care procedures and protocols
    - Strong patient service skills and ability to provide compassionate care

    As a Physical Therapy Aide, you will play a vital role in supporting the physical therapists in delivering high-quality care to patients. You will assist with various tasks to ensure smooth therapy sessions and provide exceptional patient service.

    To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology. Experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting is preferred, as well as familiarity with acute care procedures.
