  • The Missouri Southern State University Psychology Department is seeking candidates for a 10-/12-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor position on its Joplin, Missouri campus beginning June 1, 2024. A Ph.D. in Psychology or related field is preferred; however, candidates who are ABD will be considered with a commitment to complete a Ph.D. Multiple areas of specialization that support an Applied Behavior Analysis program (e.g., Developmental, Clinical, Applied Behavior Analysis) will be considered. Ideal candidates will have BCBA certification and have clinical experience in ABA. The position requires a demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence and advising at the undergraduate level. Successful candidates should be prepared to teach General Psychology, research-specific courses (e.g., Thesis), and Applied Behavior Analysis courses. Other responsibilities include student advising and recruitment, and active participation in service and scholarship activities including supporting an ABA clinic.
