Bay Psychology Group, Inc. (BPG), a renowned provider of clinical mental health services in Oakland, CA, is currently seeking an Supervising Clinical Psychologist for a hybrid role. This position offers the unique opportunity to mentor and lead pre-licensed psychological associates, enhancing their professional growth through effective supervision and support.

Position: Supervising Clinical Psychologist

Location: Hybrid, with a physical office at 5332 College Ave Ste 202, Oakland, CA 94618

Hours: 25 hours/week (Part-Time, Hourly)

• Clinical Supervision: Oversee clinical and administrative tasks of up to 3 pre-licensed clinicians, ensuring excellence in clinical care and documentation. This involves providing one hour of individual supervision for every ten hours of clinical work conducted by an associate.
• Development and Leadership: Potential to develop and lead weekly group supervision sessions for the associate clinical team.
• Collaboration: Regularly communicate with the Administrative Assistant and President to ensure effective supervision practices are in place.
• Compliance and Accountability: Uphold all Bay Psychology Group, Inc. policies, fostering a culture of accountability of clinical work and among associates for their job performance.
• Performance Evaluation: Conduct quarterly reviews with the President to assess supervisee performance, establish goals, and address concerns.
• Reporting: Prepare and submit detailed monthly reports on the clinical team’s progress, highlighting challenges and achievements.
• Patient Experience: Actively work to improve patient satisfaction through diligent clinical supervision, and practice.
• Organizational Skills: Demonstrate exceptional organizational capabilities, prioritize tasks efficiently, manage supervisee absences, and submit accurate time cards bi-weekly.
• Patient care: treat weekly psychotherapy patients (15-20 pt hours) using contemporary psychodynamic practices. Completing all required documentation and collaboration with others. Treatment of adults, children, couples, and families as clinical competency allows.
• Primary Supervision: $150/hour for doctoral level, $120/hour for master’s level supervisors.
• Administrative Tasks: $50/hour for tasks related to supervision development or operations.
• Piece-rate for direct psychotherapy services with a range in pay from 60-130 per hour, dependent on caseload composition.

• Doctoral Degree in clinical, counseling psychology or related fields; and
• Active, unrestricted psychologist license in the State of California (must be fully licensed). A copy must be provided to Bay Psychology Group.
• Available to hold at least 15 patient sessions per week, provided such sessions are available and referred/scheduled by Bay Psychology Group.
• Specialize in psychodynamic therapy

Pay: $50.00 - $130.00 per hour
