Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Professor - Rehabilitation typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and initiates research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students.     Responsibilities
    • Director of Rehabilitation Services is responsible for the overall operations & success of nursing, therapies, wellness and business services
    • Director of Rehabilitation Services is responsible for developing and maintaining rehabilitation and wellness programs to meet the identified needs of the community
    • Director of Rehabilitation Services is administratively responsible for the management of fiscal and personnel resources, performance improvement, information management, strategic planning, marketing, community education, physician/customer relations, regulatory compliance, and accreditation
    Qualifications

    Education and Work Experience

    1. Master's Degree in a Medical Rehabilitation field preferred.
    2. Five years of clinical practice with supervisory experience.
    3. Licensed by the Physical Therapy Board of state.
    4. Will consider Occupational Therapist or Speeh Therapist
    5. BLS for healthcare provider's certification upon hire and maintain current.
