Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Professor - Special Education typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and initiates research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students.     Position Description

    Epic Special Education Staffing is partnering with an exceptional school district who is looking for several contract ELL Special Education Resource Teachers for the school year.

    • Location: Zion, IL
    • Duration: Immediately - May 24, 2024
    • Onsite or Virtual: On-Site
    • Full or Part Time: Full Time
    • Schedule: 37.5 hours/week; Pre-K: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 8:45AM-3:45PM; Wednesday 8:00AM-3:45PM; Elementary and Middle School: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 7:45AM-2:45PM; Wednesday 7:45AM-3:30PM
    • Grade/Age Levels: Pre-K to 8th-Grade

    Qualifications

    The minimum qualifications for a ELL Special Education Resource Teacher:

    • 1 year of verifiable, professional experience as an ELL Special Education Resource Teacher within the last 3 years (may include residency or clinical practicum)
    • Valid ELL Special Education Resource Teacher credential/license or in process in the state of practice
    • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States and will be asked for proof upon hire. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
