Execute receptionist, clerical, planning, and organizing duties required by the assigned Directors and staff.
Starting Pay: $14-$15.40 hourly
Essential Functions
Assist with incoming communications via telephone or personal visits, taking messages and assuring positive public relations for assigned program areas and DSNWK.
Perform word processing and data entry for assigned staff.
Make room arrangements for departmental meetings to include set up and clean up.
Assist Program Directors and the College for Living Manager with coordinating departmental activities and addressing routine inquiries as delegated.
Responsible for electronic entry of ICFMR (KDOA) annual and semi-annual reports.
Responsible for the upkeep of all ICFMR (KDOA) survey files.
Responsible for the completion of the ICFMR (KDOA) Annual Report Forms.
Assist with internal audits and reconciliation of persons served finances.
Record minutes of departmental meetings for Program Directors and College for Living Manager.
Participate in the On Call schedule.
Assemble meeting packets for Program Directors.
Maintain working files for Program Directors.
Assist with transportation and motel room accommodations.
Approve and sign all purchase requisitions up to $100.00
Approve and sign all reimbursement vouchers up to $50.00
Gather, track and monitor timesheets for Supervised and Supported Services.
Train newly hired Direct Support Professionals (DSP's) on Financial Reviews.
Monitor residential tally sheets, activity sheets and day service tally cards.
Other Responsibilities
Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Will have access to all PHI and EPHI for individuals whom they support as a member of their Life Plan Team or for whom they provide back-up services; to provide on call supports; involvement in investigations, as required; and planning for day and residential service options for individuals with dementia and those who are medically fragile.
This position is not subject to the two year training period as defined by KPERS.
Job Specifications
Education - High School diploma or equivalent preferred, related post-secondary certification preferred.
Experience - One year related experience including word processing required. Related education as described may substitute for experience.
Extent of physical effort required: Routine job requirements - Little if any behavior or other physical intervention.
Comments: Position may have other physical requirements for specific work sites, i.e. climbing stairs, extended periods of standing, etc.
Other Requirements
Able to exercise good judgment and discretion in handling confidential information.
Valid driver's license.
