Non-Profit Transportation Program Assistant
The Southwestern Wisconsin Community Action Program is looking for a full-time Program Assistant to support program operations in its LIFT Transportation Program.
LIFT provides rides for people in southwestern Wisconsin that may have temporary or permanent difficulties with transportation. LIFT offers rides to and from locations within a day trip of the resident’s home.
The Transportation Program Assistant provides a variety of support services to Transportation Program staff. Often, these support services are of an analytical project nature to enhance the function of the program. Other times, the supports are of an administrative nature. For example, you might be asked to monitor and report on program budgets. You may be asked to maintain social media accounts or administer program outreach activities and materials. This is a position for someone that likes variety, enjoys keeping busy, is organized with high attention to detail, and has above average writing skills. Be prepared to demonstrate your skill with the Microsoft Office suite of computer software. Previous work experience with office management, contract compliance or project management is required.
The starting pay rate for the Transportation Program Assistant is $20.00 per hour . The position is based in our Dodgeville, Wisconsin program office.
You’ll need a valid driver’s license with use of an insured vehicle. A minimum of a high school diploma, or equivalent, is required. An Associate’s Degree is preferred. Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination is required.
