Position Description

Overall Responsibilities:

The Financial Analyst works with the finance and business teams to source financial data, create operational reports, budgets, and forecasts. This role provides quantitative and qualitative insight on the company’s performance trend through research, a compilation of data, and robust analysis.

Essential Job Functions:

• Perform a range of financial analyses required to assess and support business decisions and actions.
• Prepare and report on various financial and business metrics including variance analysis.
• Prepare financial forecasts and budgets.
• Make recommendations to help achieve performance objectives.
• Coordinate financial activities of other functional team members to help achieve financial objectives.
• Drive for continuous improvement and productivity.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• 3 years of accounting/finance experience with strong accounting knowledge
• Analytical problem-solving capabilities
• Interpersonal and communication skills
• Basic software knowledge and skills
• Experience with business intelligence and reporting software preferred (Microsoft Office, IFS, Power BI)

Physical Requirements

Tolerance for sitting long periods of time. Possess finger dexterity to write, type, and use a calculator. Maintain adequate vision to view small print and computer terminal. Ability to speak and hear, walk throughout facilities with occasional light lifting (25 pounds), stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching with hands and arms required. Ability to travel between multiple facilities as required to perform core job duties.
