Program Manager coordinates and monitors the scheduling, pricing, and technical performance of company programs. Negotiates and prepares contracts by considering the financial conditions, resources, and contractual requirements. Being a Program Manager develops new business and expands product line. Ensures adherence to master plans and schedules, develops solutions to program problems, and directs work of incumbents assigned to program from various departments. Additionally, Program Manager ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Acts as advisor to program team regarding projects, tasks, and operations. Prepares proposals to win new programs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a department head. The Program Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Program Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Duties:
    • Coordinate and lead the operations of the Oredigger Intervention Team and provide outreach, referrals, and resources to students as appropriate.
    • Coordinate all non-clinical student case management initiatives within the Division of Student Affairs.
    • Serve as initial point of contact/case manager for student behavior/academic referrals and triage concerns accordingly.
    • Meet individually with students to provide success coaching and design individualized strategies and plans to support their success.
    • Utilize academic data such as academic standing, academic alerts, and midterm grade reports from faculty members to design intervention approaches for students.
    • Utilize Navigate360 to create intervention/success campaigns to engage students and connect them with resources.
    • Collaborate with Enrollment Services to support students who are exiting or re-enrolling to facilitate their transition.
    • Develop individualized support plans with students who are withdrawing or re-enrolling.
    • Assist and guide students through the medical withdrawal process and coordinate their successful return to campus following a withdrawal.
    • Support and foster students’ identities and sense of belonging on-campus and facilitate the creation of a physical space for students / student groups emphasizing community and belonging.
    • Supervise student staff and ensure staff coverage and support for the designated community/belonging space.
    • Participate in and carry out strategic planning process/goals related to student retention and sense of belonging.
    • Manage and oversee a student programming budget.
    • Conduct assessment of new/incoming student needs/expectations prior to orientation and mid-semester, and facilitate needs of students of underrepresented/historically excluded populations.
    • Create, market, and deliver relevant professional development for the campus community, including
    • but not limited to Safe Zone Training, student concern reporting processes, resource sessions for new
    • student orientation, etc.
    • Assist with student affairs and campus-wide programs and initiatives as needed, including but not
    • limited to, campus traditions, admissions events, and University committees.

    Required Qualifications:
     
    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or 3 years of relevant experience andprogression toward degree.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
    • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills.


    Preferred Qualifications:
     
    • Ability to demonstrate genuine empathy and care for students, their challenges, and their success.
    • Experience supporting students with diverse identities.
    • Experience with student success management software such as Maxient, EAB Navigate360, and/or related systems.
