Program Manager coordinates and monitors the scheduling, pricing, and technical performance of company programs. Negotiates and prepares contracts by considering the financial conditions, resources, and contractual requirements. Being a Program Manager develops new business and expands product line. Ensures adherence to master plans and schedules, develops solutions to program problems, and directs work of incumbents assigned to program from various departments. Additionally, Program Manager ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Acts as advisor to program team regarding projects, tasks, and operations. Prepares proposals to win new programs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a department head. The Program Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Program Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. The Technical ELITE Program is a 1-year talent development program for IT engineers. We bring in 250 new hires through the program on an annual basis. With the size and scope of our program, it requires a robust range of communications and change management strategies to facilitate each participant's experience. This contractor will focus on providing communications and administrative support to ensure the successful delivery of all program activities and events.
- Implementing change management campaigns during program changes or enhancements
- Managing our program inbox, calendar, and maintain proper coordination between all program workstreams

- Evaluates requests, identifies issues and determines appropriate source for resolution
- Interacts extensively with program stakeholders (participants, leaders, and volunteers) to provide an understanding of program needs, make recommendations, help set expectations to improve service to stakeholders
- Works closely with Product Owner, Project Manager, and Communication Project Manager on communications and ensuring timely delivery
- Gather feedback on stakeholder experiences and develop strategies for addressing trends that will assist in improving their experience
Qualifications
- Have a working knowledge of Jira and agile methodology
- 2-3 years of Project Management
- Excellent organization skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills.
- Ability to work in a matrix-managed team environment.
- Ability to manage workload efficiently to meet client deadlines.
- Communications or Change Management Background is preferred
