To be a Program Manager - Social Service typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required. The Company:
Social Vocational Services (SVS) has been serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout California since 1977.
The Position:
We are looking for a Program Director at at one of our Fresno program offices. This program office focuses on various creative art techniques to develop individual styles.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of a licensed day program
- Interface with care providers/family/regulatory authorities/Regional Center/schools
- Act as a program advocate to market the client services to individuals, counselors, families and the community-at-large
Minimum Job Qualifications:
- Solid background working in a day program setting
- Strong problem-solving capabilities
- Solid staff supervisory experience
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Must obtain DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance
- Must pass post-job offer job-related physical exam including TB test and drug screen
- Art background not required but beneficial
