    The Family Resource Center is a community-based, culturally competent program that provides evidence-based parent education groups, information and referral, mentoring, educational support and other opportunities for children and families. The Family Resource Center also provides services specific to Children Requiring Assistance who are having serious problems at home and at school, including runaways, truants, and sexually exploited children. 

    We are currently searching for a full time (40 hours per week) Program Manager for our Family Resource Center.  This position is responsible for the day-to-day supervision and management of FRC operations.  Responsibilities include:  The hours are Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm.  

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Develop, supervise and manage all aspects of the program.
    • Ensure coordination with the FRC’s Network Service providers and for managing other external community relations and monitoring community needs.
    • Provide clinical and administrative supervision for all FRC staff, including the Clinician and Family Partner.
    • Fulfill reporting requirements of the department.
    • Evaluate program and staff performance on an ongoing basis.
    • Perform community liaison functions including serving on committee, speaking to interested groups and other duties of a public relations nature.
    • Participate/institute on-going C.Q.I. activities and provide quality service to clients.
    • Serve as the volunteer coordinator and shall work directly with Family Members as needed
    • Facilitate family and youth groups
    • Respond to reasonable expectations of Agency and/or supervisor.
    • Focuses on understanding and meeting family needs.
    • Maintains positive work relationships in a respectful and collaborative manner.
    • Maintains good communication with others ensuring others have necessary information.
    • Actively works toward organizational improvement and professional growth.
    • Maintain all ethical and legal requirements of the Agency.

    Education and Experience:

    Applicants must have at least five years of full-time or, equivalent part-time, professional, administrative, supervisory, or managerial experience in public administration, public management, clinical administration or clinical management of which at least one year must have been in supervisory, or managerial capacity or, any equivalent combination of the required experience and substitutions below.

    Substitutions:

    • Certificate in a relevant or related field may be substituted for one year of the required experience.
    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field may be substituted for two years of the required experience.
    • Graduate degree in a related field may be substituted for three years of the required experience.
