Program Specialist (Non-Profit) jobs in Kansas

Essential Functions

• Provide outstanding payroll and customer service support to clients and employees in the areas of pay, benefits and taxes relating to their pay.
• Process and generate employee paychecks, statements of earnings and deductions using Profit Builders' ProWork HCM application
• Generate on-demand payments as requested
• Maintain payroll processes thru specified cycles while meeting required deadlines
• Reconcile gross payroll amounts being processed, along with reconciliation of applicable payroll taxes as required
• Perform calculations and posting of data rapidly and accurately
• Perform processes according to the payroll processing checklist as needed and required
• Data entry updates to employee master file records as needed
• Import time and attendance data files for payroll processing
• Review time sheets, wage computation, and other information in order to detect and reconcile discrepancies prior to payroll being finalized
• Enter and maintain garnishments in employee master file records, as well as validate within the payroll process to remain in compliance
• Assist with multi-state tax reporting and quarterly tax filings
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing team goals and responsibilities
• Maintain client confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential
• Ad hoc requests received by the Payroll team
• Ability to support clients in payroll module areas of ProWork HCM application such as: employee onboarding, rate changes, tax forms, and other specified areas as requested
• Assist with other projects as assigned
