Program Supervisor coordinates and monitors the scheduling, pricing, and technical performance of company programs. Responsible for aiding in the negotiation of contracts and contractual changes and coordinating preparations of proposals, plans, specifications, and financial conditions of contracts. Being a Program Supervisor develops new business and expands product line. Ensures adherence to master plans and schedules and develops solutions to program problems. Additionally, Program Supervisor recommends changes to improve process efficiency and alleviate process inaccuracy and duplication. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Program Supervisor contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.     POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Program Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day delivery of one content area. Assists with managing program staff and operations; maintains program knowledge and acts as a point of contact for staff and the community; monitors program policies and procedures; ensures high quality of program delivery.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1. Supervises program operations; implements procedures for the delivery of the program(s).
    2. Resolves program issues with representatives and agency partners.
    3. Maintains familiarity and compliance with federal, state, and local program regulation; consults with management on rules interpretation and implementation as necessary.
    4. Plans, organizes, and monitors policies and procedures that meet customer services standards and complies with program regulations.
    5. Oversees and assists with customer documentation and customer database.
    6. May perform direct service functions as needed.
    7. Plans and coordinates staff schedule.
    8. Works with Compliance Specialist to ensure staff training meets agency standards; reviews and updates individual training plans.
    9. Acts in absence of the Program Coordinator on issues related to programs; maintains knowledge of issues relevant to program’s policies and procedures.
    10. Interviews, trains, supervises, schedules and evaluates staff. Maintains and complies with performance review system for direct reports; mediates staff conflicts; counsels employees with performance issues; recommends disciplinary action as necessary; assesses program equipment and supplies and distribute to staff and sites as needed.

    NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Requirements

    Experience and Skill Requirements: The following experience and skill requirements are considered essential:

    Experience:

    • 3-4 years of experience supervising the delivery of services; experience working in a social services environment, preferred
    • Supervisory experience
    • Interpreting funding source regulations

    • Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

    • Proficient using Microsoft Office applications and other computer software as applicable to the position
    • Read, analyze, comprehend and apply written procedures
    • Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
    • Communicate and present information
    • Identify problems and recommend solutions


    Education and Knowledge Requirements: The following education and knowledge requirements are considered essential:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field, or the equivalent in related education and work experience, preferred


    Other Requirements: Additional requirements that are considered essential:

    • Must have valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and provide proof of insurance
    • Must pass required background checks
