Program Supervisor coordinates and monitors the scheduling, pricing, and technical performance of company programs. Responsible for aiding in the negotiation of contracts and contractual changes and coordinating preparations of proposals, plans, specifications, and financial conditions of contracts. Being a Program Supervisor develops new business and expands product line. Ensures adherence to master plans and schedules and develops solutions to program problems. Additionally, Program Supervisor recommends changes to improve process efficiency and alleviate process inaccuracy and duplication. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Program Supervisor contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Job Duties:
- Assist with overseeing the development and administration of Oregon Housing and Community Services work plans, as well as Continuum of Care grants utilized to perform activities within the department
- Assists with the development, supervision, maintenance, and implementation of the service delivery system of programs within the department
- Monitors monthly expenditures
- Responsible for the personnel management of staff that includes recruitment, hiring, evaluations and disciplinary action when necessary
- Assists staff in developing strategies to meet performance objectives.
- Assure quality customer service of all staff in the delivery of services and assess program delivery and if service options are meeting the consumers' needs
- Advocates for low-income individuals/families locally, statewide and at the federal level
- Attends or appoints a designee to attend required statewide meetings established by funders
- Provides public education regarding agency services
- Works in unity with Leadership team and exemplifies the mission of the agency.
- Assist Manager with meeting compliance standards for all homeless programs according to Federal, State and program regulations. Recommend policies, procedures and memorandums of understanding to be approved by the Director
- Respond to requests for information and collect reporting data to assist in the submission of program reports
