The Mom Project is excited to partner with our client, a consulting firm that works with accountants on a mission.
This consulting firm works with mission-based non-profits and is seeking an experienced Lead Accountant with broad nonprofit accounting experience for a variety of client assignments. Role includes interaction at a high level with clients, providing reports, budgets, and forecasts, and technically supervising staff. Flexible work hours and days.
Candidates must have the following:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration required.
Certified Public Accountant required (inactive licensees considered).
Excellent written communication skills using letters, email, text, reports and other means.
Excellent verbal communication skills with clients, CCI staff and community members.
Ability to easily manage multiple projects and deadlines at the same time.
Ability to easily work independently as well as a member of a team.
Ability to supervise the technical work of CCI staff and client staff.
High degree of accuracy in work products.
High integrity and ability to keep information confidential.
Good working knowledge of QuickBooks and excellent skills using Excel, Word and Adobe products.

About Bear, Delaware
Bear is a census-designated place (CDP) in New Castle County, Delaware, United States. The population was 19,371 at the 2010 census.
Originally a small crossroads in a rural area, about 14 miles (23 km) south of Wilmington, the area supported small farms growing mainly corn and cattle. In the late 1980s and 1990s Bear became a popular location for the construction of sprawling housing developments and shopping centers along U.S. Route 40. Much of Bear runs along the highway, and extends to approximately Delaware Route 896.
