Project Accountant jobs in New Mexico

Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects is currently seeking a full-time Project Accountant to support our Company in Albuquerque, NM, Ft. Worth, TX, or Kansas City, MO.        

The successful candidate will be detail oriented a self-starter, recognize and able to meet critical deadlines, possess excellent written, oral communication and strong interpersonal communication skills, able to multi-task and perform with minimal supervision. This person should be proficient in project accounting, project budgeting with a strong understanding of fee types, project billings, project performance analysis and work well as part of multiple teams.

The position will assist with the project administration and project accounting by supporting a Utility Inspection program in our Rail Division. Regular job duties to include but not limited to, project maintenance, preparing weekly and monthly reports for assigned program including project report dispositions, reviewing weekly employee timesheets for appropriate coding, PO requests, running draft invoice reports, posting and tracking all final billings, reviewing third party invoices, unit pricing, vehicle logs & employee reimbursable to ensure proper coding & authorization. This position requires being able to implement and maintain the workflow and assignments adequate for achieving the Company’s goals and objectives.
