THE POSITION:

We are looking for a Project Accountant who will report directly to the VP of Operations. This person should be highly detail oriented, enjoy multitasking, and understand how to adapt and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. This team member will be responsible for creating accurate and timely financial records in a multi- company environment. Sample duties include preparing payments and cash receipts, sales taxes, Vendor and Subcontractor compliance, CCIP/OCIP Setup, certification of Insurance, and management of lien waivers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Approves release payments to vendors after checking for overbilling, subcontracts, and for proper signatures on all contract documents
• Manage lien waivers and uploading to Textura
• Works with vendors to obtain lien waivers in a timely fashion and to resolve discrepancies
• Track all mechanics lien dates and ensures the company files timely liens and receives
• Responsible for the contract process
• New job set-up, new contracts, and managing existing contracts
• Enters job budgets; tracks to ensure
• all PCOs & Bas in sage.
• CCIP/OCIP enrollment and ensuring the reposting is compliant
• Additional duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 4 years of accounting experience.
• 1 year experience in construction or related industry.

Pay for this position depends on experience.
