Job Title: Team Accountant
Location: Stuckey Troutwine CPAs LLC
Work Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week (50-60 hours during peak tax season)
Work Remotely: Occasional remote work if needed, but not on a regular basis

Job Overview:
The Team Accountant will work daily with various clients, providing a range of accounting services. This role requires adaptability as responsibilities and tasks will vary from client to client. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing multiple projects, able to handle shifting priorities, and committed to maintaining high-quality work under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor company accounts and conduct monthly or quarterly reviews
• Manage client accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Prepare financial statements
• Prepare tax returns and payroll quarterly filings
• Assist with budgeting and financial planning
• Train and supervise the accounting team as needed
• Work directly with clients to provide exceptional service

Skills and Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of related accounting experience required
• Tax preparation experience is helpful but not mandatory
• Strong adaptability and flexibility with shifting priorities
• Proven ability to manage multiple clients and projects efficiently
• Comfortable working in a high-stress environment while maintaining a positive attitude
• Willingness to work overtime during tax season (Jan-Apr) and meet critical deadlines
• Excellent analytical and detail-oriented skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks (QuickBooks Online experience is a plus)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word
• Ability to learn new software quickly and effectively
• Strong organizational skills with a high level of autonomy
• Must work well under constant deadlines

Education Requirements:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $46,000.00 per year
